Funding Sources

The organizations listed below are open to receiving proposals for funding of projects that use the Principles as their guide. Please contact them directly for more information.

AJWS American Jewish World Services: An international development organization motivated by Judaism’s imperative to pursue justice.

ARCUS Foundation: The mission of the Arcus Foundation is to achieve social justice that is inclusive of sexual orientation, gender identity and race, and to ensure conservation and respect of the great apes.

ASTRAEA Foundation: Astraea is a dynamic global foundation providing critically needed financial support to lesbian-led, trans, LGBTI and progressive organizations.

Dreilinden Gesellschaft für gemeinnütziges Privatkapital: Assists groups in their work for self empowerment and pushes for a mainstreaming of gender issues. The organization approaches possible partners regarding support schemes on their own accord; unsolicited applications are not processed.

Hivos Humanist Institute for Development Cooperation: Emancipation and development are inextricably linked to the right to freedom, self-determination and equal access to opportunities and possibilities.

The Fund for Global Human Rights: The Fund finds and funds local human rights heroes who often work at great personal risk to strengthen and bring global attention to their struggles.
